Next, our experienced memoirists will review and weave together your biographical material into an edited manuscript to be reviewed with you.

Finally, we will produce the finished memoir — a finely crafted book, with cover design and photo inserts — and send you printed and digital copies.

Personal Consultant
You will be paired with a dedicated Memoir Consultant who will be there to guide and assist you throughout the entire process, including scheduling and feedback.
Biographer Interviews
The process of collecting memoir material is done through our celebrated biographer interviews and is a chance for you to recall and retell your life story.
Complete Manuscript
The memoir itself is a complete, book-length manuscript composed by our expert writers, who will work with you on revisions and feedback.
Printed Books
Based on the complete manuscript, we will craft a final book, which we will print and ship copies to you, with additional copies available for purchase separately.
Digital Materials
We will send you a digital copy of all materials collected and created during the process, including the finished manuscript, book, and all raw interview files.
Full Ownership
You will also retain and be transferred full ownership rights to all material collected and work created during the process — this is your story, after all.

Having helped our own family members create memoirs to capture and preserve those legacies — understanding first-hand the joy and satisfaction in doing so — we felt that it was something we needed to share with others.

Depending on the package, interview scheduling, and revision times, the process typically takes 3-6 months.
As soon as you reserve your package, we will pair you with your personal Memoir Consultant, who will schedule your initial consultation, determine a timeline, and help answer any questions you might have before you fully commit.
For biographer interviews, we recommend scheduling a 2-hour session once a week with each subject — so, for the Basic package (which includes 8 hours of interviews), this would generally be a month for the interview process, whereas for the Deluxe package (which includes 32 hours of interviews), this could be up to 4 months of interviews.
Manuscript writing takes from 1-2 months, plus time for revisions, which we allow 1-2 weeks for per round.
Finally, the final layout and printing process will take a couple of weeks, after which you will have the physical books shipped to you, and digital materials sent to you electronically.

Yes, we have gifting options to help you make the experience feel extra special for your gift recipient.
Please let your Memoir Consultant know during the initial consultation that your purchase is a gift and they will discuss options with you.

In order to ensure that we are able to accommodate your memoir, we ask that you first pay a deposit in order to secure your place with us.
This deposit is fully refundable before the start of the biographer interview process. The initial consultation with your Memoir Consultant is separate from this, so you can ask any questions you might have — if you choose not to move forward after your consultation, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Once the interview process begins, the deposit will no longer be refundable, and we will request payment of the balance to move forward with the rest of the process.
